Even though Wallie’s Gals is still in post-production it made its premiere at the Shawna Shea Film Festival! It screened at the WICN radio station in Downtown Worcester on Thursday, September 21, 2023 as part of the 4:30pm block. It was nominated for Best New England Feature and ended up winning the Shawna Spirit Award (congrats to Richard Griffin, whose film “Disorienting Dick” won Best New England Feature). Also the feature screenplay “Girl Aloud” won the Outstanding Achievement award.
Cast members Audrey Noone, Christie Devine, Mary C. Ferrara, Roe Pacheco, Liz Bishop, Jodi Ellen, Nancy Ferrara, and Mike Weiner were in attendance. We will post here when there are more screenings in 2024.
