A new teaser has been released showing a scene from the flashback section of the film. Featuring the characters of Wallie (Brett Johnson), Young Leanne (Devon Padley), and Young Maneki (Jennifer Reagan), it shows the great lengths that the Gals (the ladies employed at Wallie’s store “Wallie’s Big Deals”) will go to to help the store get more business. Another teaser will be released in the coming months. It will be a present day scene featuring the adult Maneki and Jeannette.
Currently the film is undergoing sound and color correction and will be final in 2024. Festival announcements will be posted here.
